Freedom

What do you think about this article? Here is the headline:
WELLINGTON, Ohio — An artist who was forced to remove his Nazi gingerbread men from the window of a hardware store has set up the display in an empty storefront in another town.

What about "free speech"? It is fine by me to have him take down this disgusting "art", but do you think he ought to be forced to?

Or what about this?

I support GWB for the most part. I know he has made some bad decisions, but who hasn't. This one though was a terrible move. One of the most difficult problems we have is immigration. I'd love to see the process made easier for those who'd like to be in America. That way they have rights, and are paying taxes. A fence!! Was that the best we could think up with the "smartest" men advising the president!! Really now, I could have given you that idea.

It is a free country so he can put what he wants up but someone can put something infront of his display.

As for the wall lets start with the companies here that hire these illegals, oops I mean undocumented workers, and fine them for breaking the law. Then send troops down there to defend our borders instead of finishing your daddy's war over in Raghead land.

And while I'm at it, here are a few more things.

Bono, go back to England and get them to spend their money on AIDS in Africa, we have enough problems of our own that we need to start worrying about here. We can start with the education system that Bush hosed up with his 'Put me in the next grade so the schools can pad their graduation rates' plan oops again I mean the 'No child left behind' plan. Then get the buffoons out of congress who keep giving themselves insane wage raises while people in our inner cities are drowing in the completely broken welfare system, and stop IM'ing your congressional page for pics of his rear you faggot. And stop paying for sex with a man while you put books out about living the Godly life. I D I O T!!!
Oh, yeah, get rid of the IRS cause it sucks and stop taking 7.65% of my paycheck and rolling it down a rat hill every month, and I will see how much of this money .... hmmm... ZERO YOU MORONS!!!! THANKS ALOT FOR PIS*$&G MY MONEY AWAY!!!

I'M SPENT!!!!

Hope you guys have a great, safe trip. Tell your families 'hi' from us and give them hugs for us.

It is o.k. with me if the guy plays with whatever kind of cookies he wants to. It looks to me like he was trying to make a joke about gingerbead men so the ACLU is probably concerned about hurting the feelings of gingerbread men everywhere. The fence would be fine if 1) the problem was illegals getting in rather than STAYING in without documents (paper trail history) 2) it did not cost 2 MILLION dollars per mile.

now I see why jon often mentions how important it is to watch your tongue...

Bono's Irish, not English. Personally, I think the AIDS pandemic in Africa is something we ALL should be concerned about. Just my two cents...

I cant stand bono. he needs to keep his mouth shut and keep playing his guitar, then put his OWN moolah where his mouth is. I dont see him taking a hit of his own for his true love africa. last I checked he still spends the big bucks to have his hat sent tohim on a plane and owns umpteen cars. shut it bono. shut it.

I'm with you Jason and jonmower. Bono is not perfect, of course, but he is trying to be a voice to the world for those who need the world's help. You can't fault him for that.

We could sit here all day long & play armchair president if we wanted to. The fact of the matter is, we really don't know what all is involved in the decisions our President makes. Of course we all have opinions, which we are entitled to, but still. All we know is what the media tells us, and that is definitely not the most reliable source. The end.

I'm not Bono's attorney or anything, but I think he's actually donated several million dollars (his own money) to help in Africa. He's also tried to encourage our leaders to donate just 1% of the federal budget to the AIDS cause. The big whigs in Washington are probably more deserving of chastisement for their nonchalant attitude toward this crisis than Bono is. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return. -- Luke 12:48

By the way, where the heck is Kenny? Isn't it time for another list or something?

Well, next time we have a presidential election, I expect to see your name on the ballot since apparently you know how to make those kind of decisions.

And it's Lerra, not Leera.

Let's play nice. Found wireless so I am back. Bono is a good person, but easy to send several million when you make much more than that. I'd be for the country helping the aids epidemic in Africa, but not just sending money to do that. Seems we've tried several times to just "send money" and help Africa.

As to who hasn't made mistakes. I never said the invasion of Iraq was a mistake so the comment was meant for more of his outstanding speeches not the war.

LOL, there really is an echo in here! What's up with all the comments getting messed up? Maybe that is a sign that we should move on to the next topic...
