Yesterday I heard that LSU's women's coach had resigned. Not a big deal, but when it went on to say she (Pokey Chatman) would not coach in the NCAA tournament it caught my attention. Who wouldn't at least finish out the year unless it was something bad??
Well according to ESPN it is a much bigger story. Apparently she resigned because of allegations that she was having an "improper relationship" with a player. Of course nothing has been proven, but why resign and run if it is not true?

I believe it was a former player. That may be little difference, but a difference nonetheless.
Also, in a previous post, I noticed that you implied that Amy Grant had an affair with Michael English, which also is not true. English had an affair with a singer from another band with whom he toured named Maribeth something, although she did have curly brown hair.

I am going to assume that win or lose, that kind of behavior doesn't go over too well down in Louisana.
And jrb is right, Michael English had an affair with the lady from that one Christian band...you know, the one with two girls and a guy...First Call? Anyway, she conceived a child by him, he was drummed out of the Christian music biz, and he kind of went off the deep end, and was eventually arrested for roughing up a girl in a bar. Some speculated that the events were made up to help get free pub for his secular recordding that seemed to be going nowhere. He has since come around and is back singing Christian music again.
Amy Grant may or may not have had an affair with Vince Gill. It depends on your definition of an affair.
Didn't mean to imply that Grant and English had an affair together, both just had affairs.
Not sure if the former player makes much of a difference...
It was Marabeth Jordan of First Call that English had an affair with. If I remember correctly, she became pregnant, but lost the baby due to miscarriage.
