Kramer

Anyone seen the latest on Kramer (or Michael Richards)? He was in a comedy club being heckled by a few black men and went into a racial tirade. Saying something to the effect of 50 years ago they'd be tied to a tree and then dropping the "n" bomb several times. He has since come out and apologized on Letterman. What do you think? That is an awful situation.

Agree he shouldn't have said what he said but this is a classic problem with America today. "You upset me and now my feelings are hurt so I am going to get my lawyer who would sue a baby for crying to loud to sue you for my mental anguish." Society today is a bunch of weenies. "Oh don't say that it hurts my feelings" what happened to freedom of speech. What's next you going to sue me for talking trash about your favorite football team or telling your kid that Santa doesn't exist? Another example of how society is raising a bunch of wusses is that in the Army and Marines you can have a "time out" if you get to frustrated or the drill sergant yells at you. what? Grow a pair and man up, my guess is this has come about because we have let women and homosexuals into the military and we don't want to risk some lawsuit because I upset some mommies boy.

I haven't heard all of Michael Richards' comments, but there's never any excuse for racist remarks, I don't care how ticked off you are. His apology on Letterman was heartfelt (in my opinion) so I hope this doesn't follow him around for the rest of his life.

ok what? Jon, that was what we call a tyrade. ;)

CAREER SUICIDE. oh and he said hes not racist. its not so much that he used the n word, but its where he went with it talking ab hanging them from trees with forks stuck up thier bootays (a much worse word) and basically the dude is unstable. I dont even know why he bothered apologizing. it doesnt make a difference now.

Yeah, BUT! What he said was awful adn he said it when he lost his temper so it came froom somewhere inside him. already, you've got people apologizing for him and it'll be gone off the news very soon. Mel Gibson, OTOH, in a drunken tirade and because of his conservative leanings, his boo boo goes on, and on, and on, and on. . . SWIM? MamaKat
